قهوه ترک یکی از روش‌های سنتی تهیه قهوه است که بیشتر در کشورهای ترکیه، ایران، و کشورهای عربی و بالکان مرسوم است. این نوع قهوه به خاطر طعم قوی و روش خاص دم کردن آن مشهور است. برای تهیه قهوه ترک از دانه‌های قهوه بسیار ریز آسیاب شده استفاده می‌شود و مراحل تهیه آن به شرح زیر است:
- مواد لازم:
- پودر قهوه ترک
- آب
- شکر (اختیاری)
- وسایل لازم:
- جذوه (Cezve) یا همان قهوه‌جوش ترک
- قاشق کوچک
- فنجان‌های کوچک مخصوص قهوه ترک
- مراحل تهیه:
- مقدار مناسبی از آب سرد را در جذوه بریزید. به طور معمول برای هر فنجان قهوه، یک فنجان آب استفاده می‌شود.
- به ازای هر فنجان آب، یک قاشق چای‌خوری پودر قهوه ترک به جذوه اضافه کنید. در صورت تمایل می‌توانید شکر را نیز به میزان دلخواه اضافه کنید.
- مخلوط آب و قهوه را به آرامی هم بزنید تا کاملاً مخلوط شوند.
- جذوه را روی حرارت ملایم قرار دهید و بدون هم زدن منتظر بمانید تا قهوه به آرامی جوش بیاید. مهم است که قهوه نجوشد و فقط به مرحله نزدیک به جوش برسد.
- وقتی که قهوه شروع به کف کردن کرد و حباب‌های ریز روی سطح آن ظاهر شدند، جذوه را از روی حرارت بردارید.
- قهوه را در فنجان‌های مخصوص سرو کنید و اجازه دهید تا دانه‌های ریز قهوه در ته فنجان ته‌نشین شوند.
قهوه ترک به همراه یک لیوان آب سرد و در برخی موارد با یک قطعه شیرینی سنتی مانند راحت‌الحلقوم سرو می‌شود. این نوع قهوه به خاطر طعم غلیظ و کف روی آن، تجربه‌ای منحصربه‌فرد از نوشیدن قهوه را به ارمغان می‌آورد.
